Surrender

Righteousness is at the Door

Fighting for what is Right

First of all, our adversary the devil is a dirty player, — he is brutal.  And he’s going all out to make sure that we cross as many unrighteous and self-righteous lines as possible by those knee jerk reactions and addictive behaviors that so many are caught up in. His plan is get us to bail, or dwell in that compromising position.

But here is what the Word of God says about a “Righteousness” that we need to tap into:

Psalm 5:12 “For you bless the righteous, Oh Lord; you cover him with favor as a shield.”   Job 17:9 “Yet the righteous will hold to his way and he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger.”   Proverbs 4:18 “The path of the righteous is as a shining light, shining more and more till the day is established.”   Proverbs 13:6 “Righteousness guards him whose way is blameless.”   Isaiah 54:14 “In righteousness you will be established.”

King of Righteousness

Jesus, also known as the King of Righteousness, comes with a more excellent ministry bringing Salvation along with those amazing new realms of righteousness right to our doorstep.  When we find ourselves entering into those new realities of righteousness, our hearts and minds are stilled, giving us the ability to walk peacefully and powerfully in an identity that was always meant to be.

Righteousness is a powerful force; a powerful weapon that has the ability to realign everything, — moving us, and every part of us, powerfully forward.

Righteousness, for those who have been born again, was to curb us into all the good things that the Lord has for us.  It was never meant to be the big hammer where it hammers us until we get it all right.  Righteousness was meant to steer us and get us going in the right direction.  In doing that, God rewards those that diligently seek him as He reveals more of Himself, and more of His Kingdom.

We are a Work in Progress

The King of Righteousness knows that we are all a work in progress and has given us a lot of grace to personally figure out where the line is drawn between righteousness, unrighteousness and self-righteousness.  Now covered in righteousness, knowing that in righteousness we are at the right place at the right time, — there comes a peace, a covering, a protection that automatically comes with righteousness.

We, who have been filled by the Holy Spirit, get to freely enter into that peace, that resting place that resides in the midst of righteousness.  Holy Spirit comes and convicts us unto righteousness, we make the adjustments, we walk in greater peace, we see greater realms of the supernatural.

When you’re engaging with righteousness, you’re automatically engaging with the King of Righteousness.  That righteous engagement is similar to that of a marriage engagement. When you think about the path that righteousness had to take to get us in that rightful place, — it’s an amazing story.   Like a wedding garment, —  our righteous engagement becomes a game changer.  The moment you are clothed in righteousness, — your engagement changes everything.

Surrendering from the False

It’s really about surrendering to righteousness, surrendering to the King of Righteousness.  Surrender from all that is false.  Surrender from all that is unrighteous including self-righteousness, and to simply walk into all that is right.  In doing so, we become that powerful Bride of Christ that we were always meant to be.

As we surrender to water baptism, well that water baptism only deals with our past.  It’s the Holy Spirit baptism that deals with our future.  The gap between those two experiences has a lot to do with us plumbing up to the righteousness that now dwells in us.  It has everything to do with surrendering the old life as we enter into the new born again life.  What happens in the gap prepares us for our future.  What we see happening in the gap is a Bride that is preparing herself for the Bridegroom.

Even after the baptism of the Holy Spirit, things still get blurred at times.  But because of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we are now able to see things at a much greater vantage point as Holy Spirit now steers us into those greater realms knowing that a major part of the gap has been dealt with.

Righteous, Unrighteous, Self-righteous

Even the disciples, prior to being baptized in the Holy Spirit, were going through an awareness of what it is like when partnering up with righteousness.  They were going through the fires of righteousness.  They were going through the surrender process.  Their lives were instantly, on the day of salvation, tossed into the defining process of what is righteous, and what is unrighteous, and what is self-righteous.  All this happened prior to Pentecost.  Their lives were being realigned through the refining fires, — something that will happen to all of us.  Jesus filled them with the Spirit but the Holy Spirit did not baptize them till much latter down the road.

We truly need to surrender and trust the Holy Spirit as he guides us into the unfamiliar good ground that the Lord rightfully has for us.  To navigate without him will only add to the misalignment.  There is nothing in our past that we can cling onto that will help us get to where we need to be going when it comes to walking out our new identity.

Salvation changed everything.  It changed our DNA, it changed our perspective, it changed our future and it deleted our past!  What Jesus did, along with the releasing of the Holy Spirit, was a game changer.

It’s the grace of God that continually brings us back into that rightful place.  Knowing that we’ve all been distorted by the false during those many years prior to salvation, this righteousness now comes powerfully as it moves everything in the right direction realigning everything back to Gods original design.

Righteousness Pieces it all back Together

This very righteousness has a way of taking what has been fragmented and piecing it all back together.  Sure there will be warfare and lines will be crossed but this is where Holy Spirit comes in and convicts us and draws us back into that rightful place as he powerfully and continually plumbs us up into all that the Lord has for us.

Eventually, in our personal journey, we all learn where the line is drawn as the conviction unto righteousness ends up having an amazing way with us, as we now make that stand to stay at that place of righteousness.  Again it’s the love of God that sends the Holy Spirit to help us get back on track, to stay on track, creating a bumper zone to keep us on the safe side.

Jesus, King of Righteousness, takes what was a shadow of righteousness and sends it into a more excellent ministry.  Jesus steps forward with a better priesthood, a better covenant where we are clothed with the garments of salvation along with a righteousness that has been weaponized as it now guards us and protects us.  Being merciful towards our continual defaulting into unrighteousness, He now covers us, embraces us, as He awaits for us to fully explore a righteousness that goes beyond what was scribed on paper.

Riding the Realms of the New Frontier

Every new day was always meant to be another day where we tap into the new frontier that reveals more of our heavenly Father and His Kingdom.  Going around the mountain and being stuck in the hamster wheel was never meant to be a way of life!  It was always about our Heavenly Father being glorified as His kids tap into all that He has for them.

We are in a critical time.  The world as we know it is changing drastically, and if we are serious about our walk in the Lord, then it’s time to surrender all to righteousness.  To surrender and step into all that God has for us and become the people that we were always meant to be.

If you surrender, — it will be a game changer for both you, and your family.
